The City of London…..The headquarter of British monetary system. Center, Royal Stock Exchange. Left, Bank of England.

After the lunch, we walked along the road by the south bank of Thames and got across the river through London Bridge to the north side again. I saw ahead an old tower. The tower was the monument of the Great Fire in 1666. It had narrow spiral stairs in it. I paid the serviceman a 20 pence coin and stepped up the stairs with my son to take a view of London.

In the north side of the monument, there spreaded the city of London. We visited the Bank of England and the Royal Stock Exchange building. I was interested in the people walking around there. Many of them were dressed in mourning suits and put on top hats.
